Va’ Tosca II
Synopsis
In an old room, the light of a candle illuminates a female nude. Her shapes are modulated by the lights and shadows caused by the candle, suggested by the charcoal texture. The clear volumes melt with the shadows. Her glance at the viewer shows that she is not alone in the room and highlights the sensual character of the picture. This artwork is inspired by the character of Puccini’s opera.
