Artist Statement
How I work
«Invention and observation of nature are the basis of my creative process.»
When I create I emulate in my mind the atmosphere of the image I am making; I imagine the emotions of the characters and the sensations of being in the represented space. I like to configure scenes in which time is present through the representation of a wait, or an action that is yet to come.
As professional visual artist, one of my goals is to create images of high artistic quality that are pleasant to live with, pictures that add beauty to the spectator’s life.

As an admirer of art of Antiquity and the Renaissance, I consider beauty in shape and content are important in art. That is why I incorporate in my work elements like nude, landscape, inventiveness and aesthetic beauty.
Invention and observation of nature are the basis of my creative process. I use the traditional techniques (charcoal, soft pastel and painting) applied through digital tools; which allows me to express emotions deeply, enjoying the creation process.
